I am writing this post to inform everyone who reads my blog that I am having a bout of bloggers block. I have not stopped blogging and I do visit your blogs. The BB has left me uninspired to write anything of value.
I am going to write about my weekend and see if it develops into a post worthy of posting.
I wake up too early every morning and then I feel I must do something. Saturday morning I rose early did some laundry and then went to the plant nursery. They had saucer magnolia trees, so beautiful but too expensive.
My amateur photo taken of a saucer magnolia tree situated in the middle of town.
I bought some seed trays and came home and planted some seeds I have gathered over the years. I hope that in a couple of weeks most of them will have germinated and bring some more colour into the garden.

I like that you are trying to blog through the block. We have all experienced “the block” at times (or at least most of us have.) Hang in there. I enjoy your blog.
Thank you for the encouraging comment.
I get BB from time to time (yes, really!). I trawl You Tube and other blogs and Google a random word like ‘bees; and then add ‘facts’. Something usually comes up.
When you are feeling inspired again, write a few spare posts for the days you don’t feel like blogging.
Follow a couple of blogs with memes like you do with Sidey. Six Wrord Saturday has been a good one for me.
I trawled through every inspirational website I know and nothing did it for me
That is how I realised I have the dreaded BB.
I am even having trouble with sideview’s themes – I blame sideview for this BB bout
Thanks for the encouraging comment
Yes, the old BB, I have been there, frequently. Usually I go and take some pics of whatever, the garden, a walk, somewhere I’ve been, then work from there. Also maybe short posts with a single pic to talk about.
I will persevere
the dreaded blogger block – as a photographer I can almost always find a photo that inspires me – but at times (more than not) words fail me! I find that gratitue is always a good place to start, but then i realize my life is quite wonderful, and feel like I am bragging so I stop! sometimes when lost for words about my photo I will try to find a poem or quote to include, and use that as a jump off point. other times i will just link to another site with more info about my subject. no one answer works all the time – and i am sure you will find way through this!
thanks for visting my site and leaving a comment, feedback is appreciated!
Photos inspire me too
Take a break. Don’t worry about it. Keep a notebook handy, stay off your computer for a while and come back when you’re ready.
good luck!
