SPRING IS HERE!
There is something about the 1st of September which makes me feel free and happy to be alive. I think it is because this is the time of year when we throw off our heavy winter clothing and welcome the warm sunshine.
This is the best time of the year to be out in the garden the birds are the first to announce Spring. They are chirping loudly, building nests and looking for partners.
The plants are all showing signs of growth, blossoms and little green shoots are evident everywhere.

A female yellow weaver taking a good look at the nests to see which male is the best nest builder. My example of a free spirit.

Lovely Spring photos. I also love the female weaver’s attitude
She was also very annoyed with my presence. A spirited lady.
Lovely post, Gb. Happy Spring to you.
Lovely pics gb…you sound light hearted, that is good

Spring is always hope-filled. Drink that in and let it keep you motivated throughout the season to take care of yourself! Debra
Nice to have the birds back – busy busy busy
They made such a noise this morning, love watching them building their nests.
Happy Springtime! I like the free spirit of the lady weaver bird!
I enjoyed the few seconds that I watched her but I did not want to intrude and left her to choose her favourite nest.

Spring is a time of rebirth, of growth and new life, of beautiful surpises like the one in this post. Thanks.
Thank you. It is my favourite season by far.
good on her for weighing the options
Here summer is coming to an end and I’m back to work, but I love the first days of September, too, because it’s still lovely and hot and the beach isn’t as crowded.
