Some actors, no matter how mean a character they portrait, still remain my favourite character in any story.
Robert Davi is one of these actors and although he has had hundreds of bit parts over the years there are only a few main parts in movies which he will be remembered for portraying.
“Robert John Davi (born June 26, 1953) is an American actor and jazz singer. He has played such roles as Vietnam veteran and Special Agent Johnson in Die Hard, is perhaps best known for playing lead villain and drug lord Franz Sanchez in the 1989 James Bond film Licence to Kill as well as FBI Special Agent Baily Malone in the NBC television series Profiler.”
Whether you love him or hate him you can read more here.

I did enjoy this guy… he had that tough look about him…
Yes a cold look, yet he captivates your attention.
Oh yes, I have seen him in quite a few movies.
He is certainly one of the most quickly recognised nasties, even without the Bond role.
Like many of them, probably a really nice guy in real life.
I think he is a likeable softie in real life, well I hope he is and not arrogant and cruel.
Of course, some of the baddies are good baddies because they are also thoroughly nasty in real life.
I remember meeting one of the old ‘goody’ film stars in person, and found him a thoroughly nasty and arrogant character.
I’m glad you gave his name and some of his credits. I specifically remember him from The Profiler. I really like him as a character actor!
Me too. I am glad he is one of your favourites
They say in real life the bad guys are the good guys. Bad guys are great actors cause they really are believable.
